emotional music

i discovered Slackbaba about a year ago and just melted. their album And the Beat Goes Om was my introduction to psychedelic/ambient/downtempo. i first fell in love with And the Beat Goes Om and still love love love it.

at eclipse sunday dawn at the temple DJ Aikido played the most amazing psychedlic/ambient/chill set. he played Slackbaba's Sea of Green and that was it - i was just blissed out. one of the best moments of my summer. now i can't stop playing it. it just has everything. it has the power to make me cry and dance. right to the core. the fucking epitome of amazing production! i just can't get over it.

i'm about to download Slackbaba's new album. i'll let you know how it goes ;).

next up is Shulman. which i discovered last week was also played during the same set. carlos played it for me and wow.... this track called Transmission in Bloom just blows me away with its magestic beauty. take me on a trip. the actual track is over twelve minutes long and its all worth it. in fact by cutting off the end of that track they cut the story short. that's off the album Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart. i'm still making my way through it.

this track called Beyond the Dome by Alex Rize and remixed by Elfsong & Aeron Aether. it reminds me of my early electronic music days. i really miss progressive house/ trance. it reminds me of Deadmau5's early days. Deadmaus's set called Tech Trance Electro Madness is pure magic. i don't really listen to it anymore but it was my top set for like three years. it is a must share if you like this type. right to the core- it just moves me, you know? i need moarrrrrrrr.

much love
